March Meeting- Toronto based DP Paul Steinberg and his Canon C300 – Skype

Toronto based DP and the hardest working man in Canadian television “Helpful” Paul Steinberg will be joining us via Skype to discuss his thoughts on the new Canon EOS Cinema Camera the C300. Paul was one of the 1st Canadians to get his hands on the camera as Canon Canada had him as a guest speaker along with Vincent Laforet on their Cross Canada tour. Here is the test video he shot on cold Toronto weekend after receiving the camera.
Paul has shot for big networks like Sportsnet and TSN. He has done commercial spots for Coors and Canada’s Got Talent. He is a RED One and soon to be RED Epic owner and a self proclaimed camera nerd! He is a true believer that certain jobs call for certain cameras. If it has a record button he has pressed it. Paul stated in regards to the C300 “it solves all the problems of DSLR shooting but still uses EF mount lenses. Very nice, very pleasing pictures. Good enough for me to put my money on it.”
